This half-day workshop is packed with content to help you tackle your supplemental essays with ease. This 16-hr. workshop is our master workshop designed for college-bound students to be equipped with the key strategies and techniques needed to excel in crafting their Common App Essay. Our highly experienced Essay Thinkers will work with you on understanding the admissions landscape, topic development, and selection, the self-discovery process, structure, essay frameworks, tone and style, editing techniques, word choice, openings and endings, and much more. We have planned group discussions, self-reflection exercises, and multiple in-class writing sessions where we provide real-time feedback for immediate improvements. We intend to keep the group sizes of our workshops small so that everyone gets hands-on individualized support. Please note, that after filling out the registration form, it saves you a spot but does not guarantee you a seat until you make full payment. The workshop is divided into four 4-hour sessions for a total of 16 hours of class time. There will be individualized as well as group work to maximize the quality of your output. The class size is limited to a max of 10 students and we will have two facilitators in the workshop to ensure each student gets individualized support. Once you've registered and paid for your seat in the workshop, we will send you details that include the venue and what to bring with you.
