Her personal journey—successfully guiding her own sons into top universities like Yale, Emory, Purdue, and UCLA—reflects her deep empathy and firsthand insight into the stress and significance of securing the best fit.  Nicole brings over 25 years of experience in communications and writing, making her a seasoned expert in guiding students through the essay process. A graduate of Northwestern University, Nicole has authored 11 books and has professionally copyedited and proofread numerous manuscripts for Wiley Publishing, showcasing her deep knowledge of effective communication.

Nicole’s expertise extends beyond writing; her roles as a former instructor of Writing for Communications at NUS, where she was nominated for Best Teacher, and her experience as an executive coach and trainer have honed her ability to provide constructive feedback and strategic insights. She excels in helping students craft compelling essays that reflect their strengths and aspirations.

Vikas brings a wealth of global experience and business insight to career strategy coaching. A Singapore native and alumnus of the Singapore American School, he earned his Business Economics degree from UCLA. Vikas furthered his education with an MBA from Yale, where he also completed a summer internship at Amazon.

Starting his career at Bain & Company, Vikas spent four years as a management consultant and interviewer, acquiring unique insights into recruitment and business strategy. His internships at prestigious organizations like McKinsey, Micron, and Amgen enriched his expertise across various sectors, including finance, technology, and consulting.

For the past five years, Vikas has specialized in career coaching, focusing on strategic job applications and interview preparation. Now based in NYC and pursuing entrepreneurial ambitions, Vikas combines his extensive industry knowledge with a strategic approach to support high school students, undergraduates, and early professionals in navigating their career paths and achieving their professional goals.
